Carer Level 2

Carer Level 2 is for those employees with more than 1664 hours of previous experience in a similar role.

An employee at this lelve will have obtained Certificate III in Aged Care.

An employee at this level will have demonstrated competence in, and be required to undertake a range of duties relating but not limited to:

• Documentation; and
• Basic wound management; and
• Medication administration; and
• The provision of significant guidance and support to less experienced Carers

The Attributes

• Willingness to embrace the Christian principles of Braemar Presbyterian Care
• A minimum of 1664 hours previous experience in a Residential Aged Care Facility
• Well developed interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
• Ability to interpret and write clear and concise reports
• Ability and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions and work within set standards and protocols
• Ability to compete busy workload and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to relate to older people with empathy and understanding
• Current Federal Police Clearance
• Certificate III in Aged Care

Desirable

• Developing knowledge of ACFI
