About

Braemar Presbyterian Care is a community ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Western Australia. We operate three homes for the aged – Braemar House, Braemar Lodge and Braemar Village. For those able to meet their own care needs, we operate Braemar Gardens Independent Living Units providing a supportive community of like-minded people.

Braemar Presbyterian Homes for Aged People officially opened on Saturday, 8 November 1952, with a dedication at Windsor Road in East Fremantle.

Over time, our name has changed and we’ve added new properties but our devotion to delivering exceptional care has never faltered. We have achieved an excellent reputation for our quality facilities all of which meet accreditation and certification standards.

What truly sets us apart is our staff. Chosen for their commitment to the aged care industry, Braemar Presbyterian Care employs individuals interested in continual development of their qualifications.

Our innovative programs for attracting staff, mentoring new employees and encouraging young people to consider careers in aged care, put our residents in the best hands in the industry.
